Hi guys,

Just in the middle of my first build and all I need to order is my GPU. Right now I am torn between a few and was wondering if you could give me some advice? Here are the three I was looking at

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-312-SP&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=411

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3gb-...dr5-gpu-800mhz-1792-cores-dvi-hdmi-mini-dport

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-79...P5ME/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1359904141&sr=8-1

Obviously tempted by the price of the sapphire card, The msi one has the free games and I think the gigabyte may be the overall better card.

What one would you get? Or would you recommend another for between £180 and £240?

Thanks

would go with the MSI card,
black pcb just looks better than blue imo, + free games!

single big card is a better solution than two smaller cards. then later when you
need to upgrade, then deuce the first card. most running a dual setup can run
into driver/application issues for support of multi card usage.

i don't think that's what he meant to say
don't think he wants to go crossfire

To be honest my build is blue and black anyway so the blue pcb wouldn't other me.

Seems like the msi card is the winner. One question with regards to that card. On scan there are a few different versions of what appears t be the same card but at different prices, why is this? Think the cheaper one s the first version as its 800mhz and the other two are 880mhz. Would this make a noticeable difference?

It depends.
They all use custom PCBs, so the later models are likely to be revised boards with probably a better power delivery. Although I haven't heard any horror stories about any of the TFIII cards so you'll be fine.
