Hey guys I'm looking for good 24'' monitors
I want IPS for better colours
currently I'm looking at three specific models AOC i2476Vw and Dell P2414H and LG 24MB35PM

Thoughts?

well the dell and the LG look like they have the nicest stands. They would definately be my choice.

I'd say the Dell. They tend to use the best panels they can get their hands on. Very well made monitors too.

I would get the Ultrasharp spec Dell, U2414H personally. They are only fractionally more expensive in the UK and well worth it for the shear desk candy. I fully rate Dell monitors, they often share LG panels too so that's probably very closely related. Would buy LG if they had something really pretty.

The problem with cheaper LG monitors is always that the housing/stand was just wobbly and generally of poor quality. You could see this even in their TVs back when I worked at a shop that sold them, with the glossy black plastic everywhere. That is basically the reason I'd pick a Dell over an LG if they have similar image quality and features tbh.

I think that some Samsung monitors has the same issue, I used to have an 24" Samsung monitor and the stand was so skinny that as soon as you started typing softly on your keyboard, the monitor would shake like an earthquake was active.

I think that that Dell is the most expensive thing I can get, so I'm looking for something below that price if possible. Seriously considering the lg one

Ive got a Dell P2414H and its a very good panel. Exspecially for gaming i find. OK its not a 120+hz but ive got mine running at 80Hz and not 60 and i get no issues at all. No lag etc. Ive recently got a U2515H 1440p and thats even more "wow" but its £70 more. Dell tend to use LG's panels anyway, but id rather go with Dell for their after sale customer care believe it or not.
