look at this stupid company.....

It sounds as if they just don't care. However much money Creative spend on R&D and propaganda (marketing) I bet only a tiny tiny fraction of that is spent on customer support. I'll never buy a Creative speaker system again anyway but that's another story. I don't hate Creative, I just wish they would change their "it's not our problem" attitude.

Anyway, good luck getting it sorted!

the REALLY crappy thing is........i bought them speakers in april 2006, then in August 2006, people started posting their S750 has blown itself up......

if they are ONLY 4 MONTHS EARLY........i might just be lucky enough to avoid it.....

im now soooooooo fed up with creative.....i dont even want to look at the 7 speakers i still have on my wall/desk.

I HATE CREATIVE!!!!!!!

If they blew up in less than a year, why didn't you RMA them too scan?

because scan dont want to deal with me.

they kept saying, call this and that, they'll sort your RMA out in no time.

a amp that i can get signals from computer.....

and a Sub thats.....ermmmm.......can produce DEEP DEEP bass?

and i still have 7 of these little speakers that i hope to re-use if possible.

and the problem is.....these speakers uses 'plugs'? and most amps use bare wires and clips/screw in?

Can't you just can the plug off and strip the wire so you can connect to a normal amp?

But be care to not over watt the speakers.. or you will end up blowing them. :p

Call trading standards. They will be able to give you lots of good advice, including legal advice

i cant be arsed really, at the end of the day, if creative do want to help, and if Scan was helpful, i might never have been stuffed, and it looks like these S750 speakers are known to blown up anyway.

ahhhhhh...........cut off plug! AH-HA! see, thats why i mean by i have no idea in these stuff! LOL

mmmmm.......i need to find out how much power these little speakers can take.....

At the point of the dood mentioning his team leader, I`d hold onto that persons name.

At whatever stage you get this guyz direct contact number, of which u can probably get by phoning the company`s front desk or something - there are ways, and keep it close.

From either a work-phone, or whatever phone u don`t have to pay for, ring the guy (make sure u`r number not displayable) - don`t settle for an "I`ll ring u back" - agree a time, something realistic, and call the guy back 10-15mins either way of the agreed time. (otherwize they`ll be unavailable)

Repeat until satisfied.

As this continues, I`d move from team-leader to manager.

I'd keep going back to Scan if I was you. Tell them that the problem is a known issue and you don't want these speakers any more. Ask for an RMA and an alternative replacement.

Don't let them put down the phone until they've given you an RMA number but remain polite throughout or they'll just hang up on you.

well theres a reply

Mod's Note: Please leave out the advisor name in the future when posting.

I'll try and see if I can get someone to check this for you but it's over the weekend now, so the earliest will be on Monday.

man you need to do this, it really annoys me that some people get away with with messing people around I had a similar issue when I bought a sat nav system for my car, got refered to the manufacturer (after 4 weeks of ownership) and ended up spending the next 7 months trying to get it sorted out!!!!! The only way I managed to get a resolution was to start legal proceedings, after all this is your hard earned cash you've spent so jump up and down and make a fuss about it, wether it's £10 or £10,000 it shouldn't matter, you've earned it and should therefore be entitled to goods in full working order especially when covered my a manufacturers warranty!!!!!
