I am a long time lurker on Overclock 3d, I have been sponging information and other things for quite some time but never really had anything to offer the community so I never registered. But I have decided that I should throw my hat into the ring and help where I can. Especially where I am upgrading to a 2011 platform.
My Current/Old system is a LGA1366 First Gen (possibly first batch Bloomfield) I've had it for a few years now, and it was/is a real warrior. I had it overclocked for a couple years at 4.0 on Air Cooling (NH-D14) with a Sabertooth x58 (best 1366 mATX board ever!). Until it blew up a month or so ago. I tried using a Rampage III Gene to replace the sabertooth but I found it to be total rubbish, and am in the RMA process and looking to upgrade to the LGA2011 platform. I learned how to do all of this through reading articles and user submissions at overclock 3D, and hopefully I will beable to return the favor to the community!
