Long M3 bolts?

Ive seen several pictures of builds where they have what looks like 100-120mm long M3 bolts that go through rear fan to a external rad much like radbox but obviously without the radbox itself.

Does anyone know how they did this?

I'm looking at the EK external rad mount but that is not enough space as I need to have 3 display cables so I need 80mm space or more between rad and case and also would like to have the option for keeping rear case fan aswell.

Well yes the koolance is a option, seems like there would be 80mm clearance for my eyefinity cables.

Ive actually seen pictures with just long bolts and nuts but maybe that is long M4 screws?

I found this option which uses M4 screw and a adapter, I think with nuts I can attach it Fan -- M3x30mm -- Nut -- Rad.

To pc case: M4x100mm -- adapter -- Nut -- Fan -- Nut.

With adapter, washers and nuts I think I can combine the M4 screw for pc case to fan and adapter and then M3 screw to fan and rad.

m4 bolts just aren't enough to support a lot of weight. hanging a load just becons a disaster.

fans, rad and maybe another fan... i dunna know. the rad support kits is a safer bet.

and not to knock an idea, a lil cheezey.. id want some mass support for the life-blood coolant.
