how, in linux (presumably in terminal) can i make it detect a. a windows network, b. shared folders, and c. then open them shared folders...

i know about mounting, but that doesnt seem to be working atm...i want a different aproach...

(aka i tried that and it failed..)

thanks (joe;))

Go to the places menu >> then to network

:)

but video over this method will be less than satisfying

i do that, it shows windows network, but it wont load it up when i double click on it, i *think* it times out....

but i aint sure what the exact cause is...

r u on wireless or wired ?

if wireless tri wired

on wireless because it rejects the wired connection, i HAVE to be on wireless

if i turn off my wireless, and plug in wired, it just sits there and does nothing...i tried configuring it, and it doesnt do anything...
