Lian-Li V2000B & MACHII (Photo's)

Schweet

Really nice mate, especially the LCD...

I fancy getting a LCD, but dont have a parrallel port on my DFI, and the Matrix Orbital ones are a bit pricy :(

Yeah, thats the one that plugs into the control board. I do have a USB Matrix Orbital which is very similar to that - I'm gonna have to show it off soon... :D

Thought I might aswell add that the v series are NOT BTX. They are simply ATX upside down (and therefore mobo mounted to other side of case).

BTX would be mounted on same side of case as normal ATX but mobo would be upside down.

And therefore on the other side - which makes it also ATX upside-down, the only difference between BTX and V series being they are back to front. BTX and "VTX" are both ATX upside-down.

I am thinking of mounting my mach2 display under the on/off switch and matrix orbital bay res and drives in the other bays :)

I see what you're saying but what I said wasn't wrong. I said they are both ATX upside-down. I too drew a diagram to show which way you have to flip the VTX and BTX to make it the same layout as an ATX case: a BTX case is just a VTX case back to front. See attachment. Though I agree they are clearly not the same.

Oh no! what are all these line drawings appearing on this thread!

The temperature of the room was V HOT! It was during the afternoon of a baking day, and the windows were shut (with my other PC on!), which is probably why it reads 35*C!

Sounds good Fatty; make sure you sort out a thread so that we can follow your progress :)
