Lian Li PC 343B X 2

Ok silly idea,8) ! join two Lian Li 343B cases together reducing one by 25% to hold my 2 Mach 2 GT,s a few pics before I get started. If all goes to plan it should look ok. I also get that much needed storage space and room for some water cooling. If anyone has done this already id be interested in any ideas you might have.

Cheers Anthony

Unless you want to extend the evap on the mach, you will have to be sure to get the placement of the compressor pretty much at the right height.Interesting concept all the same and plenty of room for anything.

Yes I agree placement is the primary concern.

The PC 343B motherboard is set back from the normal case layout, the lower case is to be reduced by 25% and strengthened with 4m plate aluminum it’s a replacement for the M/B try, the Mach 2 GT will sit on a raised shelf made from the same 4m plate this in turn will be attached to the above forming a T shape. The down side is the PC 343B case is slightly shorter than the case holding my old Mach 2. Its no big problem just a relocation of the controller board. Am in the stage of standing back and working things out, before I start cutting. Provided I keep the distance of the mach 2 from the M/B the same it should work out.

Famous last words. 8)

Wow what a beast of a machine this should be. Good luck with the project.

Nice project mate but with a case that size why dont you go for a cascade in the bottom or a mach and a water chiller??

Also just an idea if you want to just use the machin the bottom I think you may have mentioned it but stick a heavy duty shelf in the bottom case if you dont want to mod the mach ??

I could do that if I wanted to. ..

Looks awesome - did you think about painting it green like alienware do. You could alos get some of that cool paint that changes colour when it gets hot. I have to say that its totally awesome - you rally have to think about putting smiley face stickers all over it!!
