Lets try this again

Last week I joined the benching team and uploaded a fair few entries to HWbot but a few of them got taken down as invalid entries as the site didnt specify what settings to use (superPi i think?).

I`ve been tweaking my overclock and im ready to give it another go with uploading as much as i can - i`ll even post some with my folding rig and the PC im being given tonight (although its really old aparently) but low scores get points too

i`ll keep you posted on this thread over the course of the week

Sure you don't mean PiFast?

if so, if you've downloaded the benchmark from HwBot itself, there should be a file called hexus_pifast.bat in the folder. That file is the benchmark you need to run for the HwBot rankings. If it's not PiFast, supply us with the versions of the benchmark you are running and preferably the picture you submitted to HwBot.

Have you looked here BigIan link it is a guide which also lists all the benchmarks that get you points. I am waiting for the weather to cool down as my PC room is about 35 ambient atm!!!

Dude I saw 1 of your super pi 1m submissions and you posted it as 0.3s which was the World record, idk if you had ran the wrong test or forgot to add the seconds to the submission.

Tbh I think everybody on hwbot saw it as it was on the front page you had broke the wr xD

The only super pi tests you run are the 1m and 32m ones which will take about 15s and 10min on amd CPU.

The rest of the test are easier as they don't give you any options as such, don't worry about it mate as its a rookie mistake, I forgot to add the seconds to a super pi submission too not so long back

that old chest nut got removed and i got a message from someone advising of the discrepency.

im habing trouble uploading a fair few of the benchmark results tbh, i tried uploading both heaven benchmarks using the save file but when i uploaded the file it came up saying the benchmark didnt complete and it was followed by a 200 number long error code?!

Don't bother wasting your time with the dx9 test as its none points scoring ablnd buggy as hell, I had to redo the dx11 a couple of times too and ended up dropping a few marks because it was throwing up daft errors when I uploaded the file too. Tbh I think its bugged too but its a point scoring bench so it's worth the faf.

A few others dont seem to work either, like aquamark...

I think they need to revise some of the tests they want people to do and have the settings & requirements a little clearer instead of a screenshot with open programmes!

Am3 wont run on a 64bit is as its a 16bit app. I think 3dmark 2000 is the same tbh but as its a none points scoring 1 I'm not sure.

All benchmarks are ran at default or preset options like vantage performance test.

I get a stupid high score score on aquamark which i trialled last night, I will OC my GPU tonight and run it again then submit, I tried a screen shot which was just black last night?

Round 3:

will commense at some point during this week, ive got marsey on speed dial for any frustrating issues I have
