Las Vegas

Ok so I'm going to be going to Vegas in May and had a thought that if I hold off any upgrades until I go, I could buy some parts out there to save a little money.

My question is does anybody know if there would be any shops (in the malls?) that would sell parts? My initial thought was no but then I thought maybe and meh I just dunno.

I googled and came up with: http://www.outletpc.com/

But they appear useless.

Usually you won't find a good god honest computer shop in a mall. You will find places like EB Games and such which sometimes sell way overpriced video cards and the like.

If you're gonna be in Vegas you should be able to find a plethora of good computer shops to purchase your bits at outside of the mall. When you get in town just check the yellow pages and hunt down the store you want to check out.

Cool... Just a guess at in one of the malls... I'd do my price listing over here first and take them over with me to compare but yeah just in town would be fine. Never been before so no idea of the layout.. I know ya have the strip and have my mates description from last year but not gonna know until i'm there i suppose.

Cheers though :)

I fly out tomorrow...

There's a Fry's a little south of the strip which may be of interest, but unless you travel a bit, I'm not too aware of any places to pick stuff up from at most excellent bargainous prices.

That said, I know a friend who runs a couple of shops out there. I should ask him where they are.

If ya could that would be great... Its still a little while away yet but just to give myself an idea.

Fry's would probably still be cheaper than over here.. Perhaps only just though.
