Lard**** at 4ghz/3.725ghz with FX-55

Yeah that is awesome - now with just a little more tweaking........BANG oh no it's RMA time for Mav (again!!)

All the same, what a result - doesn't say if level 2 cache is enabled either (does it) I red somewhere that if you disable l2 cache in the BIOS then insane overclocks are more than achievable - but without l2 cache performance is as good a Celeron at similar speeds :)

Looks like LN2/Dry Ice or cascade as one states -90 degrees - no mention of volts but I am guessing that it's running @ 1.85v or higher

The validation cert does state l2 cache is enabled so now I am really impressed

Now thats got me thinking that 3.7ghz is possible from my beauty LOL

I am trying hard not to think about 7800GTX's just in case I go out and buy a pair

MUST RESIST TEMPTATION...... WALLET EMPTY.....BANK BALANCE NEGATIVE.........CREDIT FROZEN.................. WILL POWER........FADING FAST!!!!!

Jeez that must be fast. Imagine it with a pair of 7800GTX's

im waiting for someone on these boards to pull of a combo of 7800GTX's and an FX57 SD :D

EDIT: Maverick - im finding it hard to resist aswell, its not necessary but im still denying the inevitable :p

That is a very nice chip, now with a very nice clockspeeds. I hope the benchies come through well. New WR by like 21MHz or something like that, great work Lard****!
