hey all, im thinkin about getting a laptop, got a buget of about 500 lol erm any sugestions of what make ? aimming for it to be able to play css on min spec

CompUSA just did a HUGE blowout on some sweet Acer Aspires with Centrino Duo tech, 512mb RAM, 100gb HD, DVD+RW, 15.4" widescreen, for like $550. I wish I had known about it sooner I may have picked one up as a spare, totaly

in' laptop for $550. It has the newest Intel gfx chipset which is more than powerful enough to run through CS:S with good settings.

Edit: It's this same rig but has less RAM, bit smaller HD, and integrated gfx. All of the other specs look the same... http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=336978

TBH Joe, you're not going to save much ordering it from the US compared to ordering a similar laptop from the UK, warranties may also be voided.

Nah, comet were probably having some downtime or something, it wasn't only you having problems .
