Lan Case

Hi all,

I'm looking for a new case but needs to be user friendly for LAN, as in secure.
The weight etc is no problem, just want it to be secure :)

Can you recommend some?

I'm looking for Full Tower or there about for good airflow circulation in side as the ambient temp gets hot during LAN's.

Preferably with a lovely window with no side fan or mesh and no studs showing that hold the perspex in place :) lol

CM Storm Trooper with a window or the Storm Stryker that comes with one.
Full tower, carrying handle, amazing airflow and the CM Storm Guard (A vertical PCI bracket with a few holes that are big enough for cables but not the connectors at the end). :)

Just my 2 cents...

Full tower for LAN? wut.

What are you wanting to put in it?
Chances are for LANs it will only need to power 1 screen. Can quite easily go mATX with a 3570k and a 670/7950/7970 and max out FPS on a single screen.

You'd see absolutely no difference between a mATX rig and the full tower one you're planing on a single screen.
You should only ever go full tower if you're panning watercooling and SLI/Crossfire - neither of which you need for a LAN rig.

Lan rig yes but at home it's different :) Multi-monitor

On the STRYKER case that TTL has used for ORCA, are the fans holding up that came installed or do they need switching out? :)

They can be noisy if you turn them all the way up but they're decent fans imo. Don't swap them out unless you don't mind spending 15 quid per fan for better ones.
The case does come with an integrated fan controller.

Also, please don't double post but use the "Edit" button in the bottom right corner of your post :)

I would have to agree , the stryker would be the way to go , especially if this rig is going to be used at home and for lans
