Laing MCP355 Heat!

Sounds a bit wierd! Like Tom said, all pumps are going to get warm but if it burns when you touch it and can melt the mounting pad it sounds a bit more serious!

If I was you I'd look into getting another pump from a different shop. All these are going to be doing is putting more heat into your loop and raise the temps all round. Know a few other people who have used those pumps with no issues, its quite bad they wont RMA them

Agreed, mine gets warm but not hot. If they are getting burning hot, then there's a good chance it will damage the hose, which can only take so much

i've not asked for an RMA yet, i'm probably going to contact them soon though
