heya guys and girls,

so I've been reading up and putting together a kit list for my 1st venture into watercooling and wanted some feedback before i placed my orders. my current setup is
sabertooth x58 motherboard
i7 950 @ 3.2ghz with corsair h70
6gb dominator gt ram
asus 7970 dc2t
HAFX case

and my current shopping list is as follows
seasonic x-series 850w
xspc d5 dual bay res/pump
2 x ek-fc7970 dcii waterblock
xspc ex360
xspc raystorm
zalman zm-mfc1 plus
2 x mayhem x1 clear
8 x ek-psc compression fittings 3/8"
asus 7970 dc2t
phobya xtreme 200
2m masterkleer uv blue
BitFenix Alchemy 3pin x3 Fan adaptor extension- are these 3 pin to 3 x 3pin?

any thoughts on any changes or anything i missed?

thx

I would say have the 360mm and a 240 mm radiator for the 7970s and cpu on a single loop with a d5 pump res combo.apart from that its a good setup

Pretty much what Josh said.

You need a 60mm thick rad in the roof, like the RX360, or Phobya UT60/Monsta (if it will fit). You'll get away with what you've listed, but to do it properly, you should try with more rad space.

Also, what resolution are you running?

As for the Bitfenix ones, they probably are? You can get molex to 3pin with 5v, 7v taps, or a 3pin splitter.

awesome thanks for the tips, I've had a measure at the top of my case and i wouldn't be able to fit the rx360 and my gentle typhoons in as 'm having two 200mm fans in the top to go with a push / pull setup on the radiator. the reviews of the phobya xtreme 200 seem to suggest it cools like a 360 rad so hopefully that will make up for the lack of an rx.

also i'm running at 2560 x 1440
