Hello,
I purchased the KFA2 GTX 980 ti HOF edition graphics card from OC last Monday.
The cards looks absolutely stunning and plays everything at ultra setting in my dell ultrawide monitor (3440x1440p).
What concerns me is that the card starts rising temperature really quick and the fans are spinning up and down.
I managed to stabilize the fans a bit with afterburner. The temeperatures I get is for example with Metro last light in ultra settings 75 degrees celcius top with Vsync on.
I benchmarked with Heaven and the card reached 91 degrees after 20 minutes in ultra settings.
I know that the resolution is high and all. I also checked the ventilation of my NZXT H440 case and it works perfectly (the case is brand new also) with all the exhaust fans working properly.
After the afterburner custom curve I get better temperatures like 2-3 degrees less.
Does someone has any eperience with this? Should I be worried for a faulty hardware? Should I send it back?
Thanks
