Keyboard switch question

So i got rid of my Steelseries Apex keyboard. And all keyboards i had before were cheap/laptop like keys (membrane i guess). And now i decided to get myself a decent mechanical keyboard. Now im on a hunt for smaller mechanical keyboard. But im not sure on the switches, since i never had mechanical keyboard. I wonder what would be the best for me after cheaper keyboards, so i would enjoy it and would be able to write something without making 1000 mistakes.

I recently got my first mechanical keyboard (CM Storm Quickfire TK with MX brown switches) and I'm really happy with it so far. It's fairly compact without giving up any features, as the numberpad and the the pg up/down, home... keys share the same keys and you can switch between them depending on the application.
Before I got the keyboard I watched many reviews to find out which switch would suit me best, for me the brown switch had a good balance of feedback and not being as noisy as the blues.
I'd suggest you try different switches first if you have the opportunity to do so in a store or if a mate has mechanical keyboard.
It certainly take some getting used to but if you mostly use this keyboard, you'll get comfortable with it fairly quickly.

i was looking at exactly the same keyboard with brown switches. had one in basket at Amazon for half a day :) for £58 and then price went up to 74 :(. Plus found those little plastic bits that make it shine in all colours :)

So i ordered Quickfire Rapid i mx brown. First one came .. 1 led dead... ordered replacement.. 2 leds dead... ordered another replacement. Will come on Thursday :) will see how it plays out this time. Im a bit amazed by this issue.
