Pretty sure there will be higher out there i.e 780 Ti 4 way, Maybe by only a few points here and there, Plus not everyone posts their scores on forums, Just does it for personal satisfaction.

If I was using 4 x 780ti's, I would expect to get a few more points than the Titan's but not much.

The 290Xs I was using still have a fair bit left in the tank.

8 Pack used 4 x 290Xs to break records on HWBot using their version of Heaven (2.1 I think) this is due to the 290Xs working better together 4 way as a team with better efficiency, even though individually they are slower than the NVidia cards.

You have to remember certain drivers will provide very different results when running anything above 2 way Xfire. Can't forget that Heaven 4.0 is much more Nvidia biased compared to AMD so you have to through that in the mix as well.. i don't even consider heaven 4.0 much of a benchmark cause it consistently favors Nvidia more.

i find it a little funny people getting defensive of nvidia etc. at this level of performance it doesnt matter what ya have, ya can do anything ya want on it.
on a sidenote tho, have you still got the 4 titans? i remember the thread you made when ya got these 290x cards. seems a little crazy all that gpu grunt in one house! talk about overkill3d!!

Yes the Titans are still here and the GTX 690s and some others too.

I know your rigs rapes eyes and has all the frames and generally is kick ass but you need some type of bling in their, It looks so damn bland you might as well call it norm and give it a grey cardigan ^_^

CPU @ 4.6ghz
GPU's +175 Core +300 Mem

That is the max I can get out of my cards if I want to run Heaven without touching the voltages, but in 3DMark I can get them at around +205 on the core and +500 on the Mem.

And this was the score.

It's for benching and gaming, I am a big Civ5 fan and on a huge map late in the game Civ5 can cripple a very fast PC.

Why is the build named Kaapstad? Are u from the home town?

The build is actually named "Paint it Black" because it uses a RIVE BE mobo and all the black in there. I also like the Rolling Stones record by the same name.



As to my user name Kaapstad, my mum comes from Cape Town along with most of my family and I also spend a lot of time there.

The Heaven 4 bench is quite hard on GPU overclocks, your score above is a good one for stock volts.
