It still needs a bit of tidying up.

Below is some pics of the build from the beginning.

Well here's the case, it's quite big but not as large as a LD V8. The case behind in the pic is a 800D with my GTX 690s in it.

Some rads, not even a 900D will take these.

Here is one of the rads with it's 9 x 140mm fans fitted.

Suddenly this case is not looking so roomy with four GPUs in it.:D

All the Unigine software favors Nvidia.. its sort of unfair to use them as benchmarks for one on one but nice score nontheless... certainly a better score then mine lol

edit: what were the clocks for the 4 290x's and the CPU?

But can it run Crysis?
Looking at those Heaven results of 389.2 Max FPS, i'm guessing yes :p

The blue coolant and those braided extensions stand out inside that case, looks good.

Thanks.

It can run Crysis and it does obscene fps running BF4, can't wait for AMD to sort out CF for Mantle.

I wish I had some of the skill of some of the other guys who post here, they do some fantastic builds. Each time I do a build I learn more so hopefully when Haswell - E and Maxwell are well established I will do a good build with them.:)

Making great builds isn't about skill tbh.. its the amount of effort and time you are willing to put in it. Just some imagination and patience outta do you well.

:D

Size is not everything, the above rig did this on the Heaven 4 bench

Beating the NVidia boys on their home ground.:D

provide a 4way sli 780ti result please.

why did you go quadfire, iirc more than 2GPUs in SLi/CF is just a pain in the neck.

/edit
after some googling i finally found a 4way SLI benchmark, 1440p 178fps. not sure if OCd though.

Not quite :p

Heres one with 4 x 780 Ti's, Extreme preset 1080P -

5874 points 4x GeForce GTX 780 Ti at 1091/1900MHz *Still a good amount of room for more overclocking there on the core* and a 4930K at 4.50GHZ

Source - http://hwbot.org/submission/2459466_

And -

6417 with 4x GeForce GTX 780 Ti at 1330/1850MHz and a 3930K at 5.2GHZ liquid cooled

Source - http://hwbot.org/submission/2493636...set_4x_geforce_gtx_780_ti_6417.38_dx11_marks/

This is the setup for the 6417 score -

It will be interesting to see how much of a boost Mantle will give you. People are getting decent boosts in FPS with dual 290's, even on 3960ks. So i'd imagine you would get a slightly bigger one running 4 cards.

OP updated with more pics and specs

Have not read all the replies yet but HWBOT uses a really old version of Heaven (I think it is 2.1) which is really easy and no test of modern GPUs.

Heaven 4 which I use is much harder on the GPUs.

Edit just read all the posts, when comparing Heaven benchmarks it is important to use the same version.

The highest score I have seen for four NVidia cards on the Heaven 4 bench is four Titans, 5237 by some bloke called Kaapstad lol. If four 780ti's were used the result would not be much different as they have the same problem as the Titan's, they hit the CPU bottleneck. To get a big increase LN2 on the CPU is needed.

The one thing 4 x 290Xs do on the Heaven 4 bench is they are more efficient when there is a CPU bottleneck, individually they are no match for the NVidia cards.

Pretty sure there will be higher out there i.e 780 Ti 4 way, Maybe by only a few points here and there, Plus not everyone posts their scores on forums, Just does it for personal satisfaction.
