My Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H mobo was needing break so I put her back in the box last night. That means my 2500k and 3570k are also on vacation until I find another use for them. All of this leads to an EVGA Z87 FTW and 4690k taking up residence in my Switch 810. I know there isn't much love for EVGA around here but I picked it up for $100.

The bios on this board is much different than the Gigabyte ones that I've grown accustomed too. I have much more to learn in there.

So far it runs really well. I spent all day overclocking and testing and I've managed a stable 4.7 ghz at 1.275v. The ram is G.Skill RipjawsX running at 2133mhz.

Max temp for OCCT w/avx was 70C. Prime95 was 73C. Intel burn test was in the same neighborhood.

All of this is cooled by an Alphacool UT60 360mm in the top of the case, an XSPC RX240 in the bottom. I have an EK res with a D5 pump and an XSPC Raystorm cpu block.
