Just a few ideas that come to mind while watching your videos when you mention issues with lighting and what not.
Lighting
The lighting seems to be very direct at the things you review, are the lights bare and facing directly at you/product when reviewing?
if so you need to try use reflected light, not direct light or you could use a soft box to soften the light, if your walls are wight or close to it you should be able to reflect the light of the walls/roof and get the desired affect, If you use the walls behind the camera/left/right and the roof you should be able to really fill the room with the light you need with out getting glare with the exception of gloss/reflective surfaces, if not you can use umbrellas (special lighting ones) reflect the light back to you it will stop the light being so direct and the stop reflective glare we see a lot of in the videos.
Moving the case/product
I see a lot of the time the case has to be dragged across the desk to turn it around and so on to show the rear/left and right sides of it I thought of using a lazy susan like you see in restaurants, Just a board that spins aroung on bearings like this
put it on a piece of round wood and paint it a neutral colour would make it so easy to turn the case around on the desk smoothly.
Sound
This is hardly a issue but there is some times some echo in the videos to fix this could hang a white sheet or two from the wall behind the camera this would dampen the echo and also would be able to reflect light from it easily.
I used to help run a photography studio and lighting was the most tedious thing, even more so when trying to use natural light from the sun
Just a few ideas I thought I would share see if I can help instead of keeping them all in the back of my head.
