JLR's New Build

It is such a good board. I really love the extremely fast boot/bios, also.

I can't wait to get it all set up my last major purchase is going to be a GFX card. I pulled the Storm Trooper out of the box today and even though Toms + other reviews have said how spot on the case is I couldn't believe how good it actually is when I had it in my hands, I'm well impressed. Actually I'm so impressed I'm trying to find an excuse to buy the Stryker :D

The last of the required parts needed.

Stay tuned for the start of the build :)

LATEST UPDATE:

Well after a some trouble with my new case (see link http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=49430) my latest project has come to a temporary stop and will continue when I choose a new case. On a brighter note I have managed to test the Board,CPU,RAM and Cooler and all seem to be working.

Im thinking of going for a Corsair 600T. Has anyone got one of these? If so how are you finding them? I know its the case of the Christmas Competition so I imagine it must be a good one.

JLR :).

Ok after much pondering which case to buy I decided on the Corsair 600T. The one I have is the black tower version. Further build pics coming soon........

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, the motherboard is already built up from the previous case I had so I just need to fasten everything down and do some cable management.

Ok been a busy day so I havent had a lot of time to work on the rig but here's an update with what it looks like so far........

It's been a while since I've been on the OC3D forums and I've just noticed I never put pics up of the finished system.

At the time of this build I had a lot going on (not good either) and a lot of things got put aside (this log for example) so was never completed.

Anyway here's a photo I took at the time of completion which I have found on my laptop. I will take another picture ASAP of the system powered up.
