I've seen an 8megapixel digi-cam...so I expect 6 is pretty standard for higher range ones now

i think this is a lie because recently fujitsu (i think) broke the record and created a 9MP which is the best one around till now

Yeah they get amazing reviews. I'm considering getting one - this MS Wireless Explorer isn't really up to much in the gaming department.

One thing i do wish they had done was to make the rechargable battery removable tho. I don't like the idea of something that is considered a 'consumable' being non-removable.

Yeah. I think the MX1000 has a better battery in it, so hopefully it will last for a good few years

I noticed much better life from the MX1000 then the MX900.

it's lithium, the MX700 & 900 (I got the 700) has nickel batteries.

ive already had to buy replacements, but my mouse is like 2, 3 yrs old.
