$600, for the 8GB. I would guess $500 for the 4GB

Well it seems they have run into a bit of a snag, though it was expected: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/01/11/technology/11apple.html?ref=business

They believe Cisco's claim against them isn't very strong, so it looks like they may fight it

Apple have only done this to get inexpensive publicity of their new gadget, very shiesty move but it works wonders.

Its not even 3G compatiable so currently it won't sell, may not be even marketed in europe

I`m not sure I`d be happy with a 2y contract with any1 - I cant stand a year >.<

Thing that would sway me mostly from this would be if u had to use something akin to Itunes to do u`r transfering stuff.

Thing I like about most winOS mobiles is u can drag`n`drop stuff, through the usb, which also makes my phone double up as a flash drive.

I really like iTunes, but perhaps I'm the only one

But ye seeing as it's an OSX kernal I don't see why you couldn't drag n'drop...same as you can do with the iPod if you want (dunno if it plays them tho)

And no I hate having a long contract. My last mobile I payed £50 for the phone (as opposed to 0) for a shorter contract over 18months

i think theres a loop hole where you can get out of the contract at 12 months when on a 18 month contract.
