It's Arrived! The Apple iPhone.

looks really good, wonder is canon will sue them for patent infringment, as the tilt thing is on my ixus 65 camera.

Ok REDICULOUS yet again, from Apple. This i would have to say is worse than the stupid vneding machines. Most car related accidents now are becoming from stupid people and that damn Verizon Chcolate. Why? Cause they are listening to there MP3s off their phone rather than paying attention to the damn road. THIS is going to be even worse. My friend almost got into a wreck with me in the passenger seat cause he had his Ipod Video playing a video and he was watching it more than i was. Almost got blind sided by an 18 wheeler. I see lots of car accidents with this, more than when texting became popular.

Well I can almost see the video argument, but the MP3 argument makes no sense as radio's have been in cars for who knows how long :P

Yea but you can turn the radio down enough to hear your surroundings. When you have headphones in your ears you cant hear crap. And most people have those things loud enough that i cant yell and they hear it. Not to mention, most people usualy just play with it enough to try and look cool and arent looking at the road either. Ive seen all these things on the road and on the news.

I fail to see where this is Apples fault  This is the fault of the retarded owners. Great product, retarded owners. Nuff said.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Its companies like Apple that take advantage of the stupid people, and get people killed becasue of their products. Im not bashing just Apple, i also bash the Verizon Chocolate. 2 way street here for me.

:crazy::rotfl:

Have you not seen the news? Ive seen about 4 to 5 accidents on the news alone that have been caused by not paying attention due to these little "All In Wonder" phones. To many people paying attention to this gadget instead of the road. I dont personaly feel like being killed or ceverly injured due to somebody being stupid, with yet another stupid gadget. Internet on the go? Sure, get a PDA and stop off at the local coffee joint. (Here in Venus the Whataburger/gas station has the free Wifi LOLs). Want a phone, good, have a phone but use it for talking. Want an MP3 player? Thats nice, listen to your radio in the car instead of having headphones in. Even when its real loud not to many people gripe unless its like 2 in the morning. Texting has to be yet one of the most horrible things to become a fad. Great idea, thrown into the wrong hands (teenagers in school). Biggest form of cheating ive ever seen. THis will also give the teachers a losing battle against having "headphones" in the class. In Venus, you now cant take up a phone.

You're right, it's the companies fault that all of these happen. How dare the company try to make an entertaining gadget for people to have a good time with. In fact, the people are at no fault, sue the hell out of these companies. This reminds me of the McDonald's spilled coffee incident... just lol.

Over looking your sarcasm, in a way yes. Companies like Apple and M$ take advantage of stupidity to make a fad. Apple in this sense, the younger croud. " MOMMY DADDY I WANT". Get where im going? Worst part is, most of these kids/teenagers are just getting their licence and are taking a stroll down the streets. You live in the US, im sure you know what im talking about. Dont get me wrong, if it wasnt for this little thing, (besides the price tag) this would be a neat toy to play with.

I want one but

1) it will be a lot more in the uk

2) erm cingular? don't think we have that network

3) my moto e398 works fine :p

You can't regulate what people do in their cars. This is a flipping stupid argument. Shall we say the same for DVD players, MP3/FM radio's and almost every portable media gadget around?

At least the thing has bluetooth so that you can use a headset (which every sensible person will use if they use the phone in your car).

If you want to stop people from using these kind of devices in their cars then the answer is simple: On the spot removal of driving license for x months if caught using a device while driving.

Good for Apple and MS tbh, if someone is stupid enough to watch a video while driving then its time for natural selection to take its course. Thats like saying scissors are a stupid invention because someone might run with them.

Or on the spot removal of their eyes

well you all ready get a fine (and points i think?) for mobile phone use, i'm sure watching a video whilst driver will have the same sort of punishment. It would prob be classed as driving without due care and attention.

You guys get fined for using your cell while driving?

Yep unless you have hands free or a headset.

Some guy got done for eating a kit-kat while driving (that his wife had undone for him)

It's the same way in a lot of states here too mate. In DC it's that way and they are about to instate that law in Virginia as well.
