We may laugh at the 95 deg C but you can boil water at about 100 deg C so you can make your tea and coffee to go with your cake!!

Surely if you can get it to go to 100c heat water,create steam and generate pressure thus moving a turbine etc (aka turns it into a power generator) surely it could power itself?

On the heat topic of the 290 card (so off topic for a cake thread), surely the reason the GPU runs hot is because the cooler isn't moving the heat. So I'd expect it to be exhausting less heat than say a 780 because the 780 cooler is moving the heat away from the GPU core and out the back of the card.

Haha, thanks for the replies, my birthday was in November so perfect timing with all the 290x stuff in the media

A few different AMD executives actually tweeted about it as well as it being in a few online articles AND it was featured in the WAN show with Linus and Luke!! Prime time hehe, My girlfriend is chuffed with all the attention it got, it even stands proud at the top of a Google images search

Haha, my previous cakes consist of an Audi S3 when I just bought one, spongebob and patrick star, angry birds and bad piggies and an Audi R8 lol, all modelled like the 290x, I will try and find some pictures!
