Is radbox really necessary?

Ive seen another guys build and he just connected a external 120rad to the rear fan.

I'm considering doing the same with the EK-240xt, only difference is there will be slighlty more weight, no?

rad boxes are light just plastic for the most part but it does help in lessening the dead spot created by a fans center.

That's true, I think I could put something between the case and the bottom of the rad to release weight.

I think 240rad should be fine as it doesn't weight alot.
