is my laptop good enough?

hi. i've ordered an asus laptop and i want to ask u whether it will be good for games like lineage 2, wow, cs: source, hl2. the laptop has the following specs:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 - 1.66GHz (x2), 667MHz FSB, 2MB L2Cache

RAM: 2048MB DDR2

Hard Drive: 160GB

Graphics: ATI Radeon X1700 supporting 512MB HyperMemory

Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium Edition

do u think it will run the games smoothly? is ati x1700 a good gfx?

HyperMemory means it uses u`r DDR2 doesn`t it ?

Most of those I can see u running, but to run with any fluidity u`ll need to knock down some detail levels a tad.

I`ve played WOW on a laptop with a heck of alot less resources than u got there. Looked pretty good, min-specs said I shouldn`t have installed it, but ran ok.

That's pretty solid for a laptop... newer games should run on medium if not high settings, and slightly older games you should be able to max out.

yeh on medium settings most games should be fine.. thought i dont really know all that much about laptop gfx..

yeah should be fine on medium. I mean you've lost a gig of mem after vista and GFX take their share, but there is another gig free so all is good.
