Is my HD6970 dead?

Hey all,

I got a blue screen during a driver update via steam this morning. Computer rebooted fine but now my 6970 isnt showing up on Catalyst or in HW Monitor. Have tried wiping all of the ati drivers and software and reinstalled but still nothing showing up. The card is outputting video but nothing else!

Is the card fried or is this a software thing?!

Help please!

Its driver based youll have to uninstall everthing ATI related then run a driver sweep for ATI stuff again.

If its updated you to 11.1a then that might be the reason as Im hearing that loads of people are getting issues with that.

Finally got things back up and running, new AMD drivers are poo! Running some old ones now and everything is fine!
