Is it really worth dropping $100+ on a wireless router?

I am looking to buy a new wireless router to replace the ol' trusty WRT54G..looking towards a new 802.11n router at least dual band 300mb/s for streaming 1080p content..you can get as expensive as a router as you want..I'm just curious to those who have the higher end models if they think it's worth spending the extra cash..or if those extra frills that come with the higher end models are not really useful to the intermediate level user. oh also I plan to torrent...a lot..legally..of course!

Good routers are really worth it in my oppinion, it makes a HUGE difference on my bad connection, as the QoS on them is much better.
I would recommend a Linksys E4500, its a really good one.
