Is 700W enough?

Hey,

Well, I don't know too much when It comes to power supplies so I'm asking for your help.

Code:
Case: Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced Case

PSU: [B][U]OCZ Stealth Xstream II 700W PSU - 6x SATA 2x PCI-E[/U][/B]

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor

Wireless card: NETGEAR RangeMax Next Wireless-N PCI Adapter

Graphics Card: XFX 6850

Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V LX Socket 1155 Onboard graphics output 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard

SSD: OCZ 120GB Agility 3 SSD - SATA-III - Read 525MB/s Write 500MB/s 85,000 IOPS

Optical Drive: 2x 500GB Sata II Drives.

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium w/SP1 - Licence and media - 1 PC - OEM - DVD - 64-bit

Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz CL9 1.5V Non-ECC Unbuffered

Disc Drive: LiteOn iHAS124 24x DVD±RW DL & RAM SATA Optical Drive - OEM Black with Nero Essentials

So is the OCZ Power supply really enough to power my system? Its not even a mega system so I should really hope it does...

The reason why I'm asking this is, Recently I was on my PC, It kept shutting itself off, Nothing to do with temps as it was all 30* or lower.

Then, The next day I turned my pc on and...Nothing happened so I whipped the side panel off to see what is going on and clicked the on switch again...
Only enough power to spin the fans round once was being given out then it would shut off again...

What the hell is wrong?

Thanks,
BamDanUK

700w is plenty but stay clear of ocz, go with either a CX600 or if you have money to spend or plan on going crossfire go with a AX650 or AX750

700W is definitely enough to power this system. But maybe the PSU is broken, OCZ units seem to be very unreliable

could run that system on a 550w psu mate but as the 2 people above me said, stay clear of ocz. try and get a corsair, seasonic,be quiet or any other reliable brand :)

Yeah, As soon as I bought my PC and started researching PC's and getting into it all I found out how bad OCZ was and am looking to upgrade to Corsair in the future.

Thanks for all the help though people :D!

always happy to help mate :) by the way how old is the pc? could return the psu and try and get a corsair one instead? just a thought
