My PC shutted it seld down cos IOH was overheated +70C. I changed my cooler from NH-D14 to H100 CPU temps went down 12C but my mobo parts are heating up too mutch. My IOH/PCIE voltage is 1.504 is it normal or high and should i change the manually?

My OC:

i7 920D0@3.99Ghz

Multi:21

BLCK:190

Vcore: 1.365

QPI: 1.365V

PLL: 1.88

Ram Voltage 1.648V

All other are on auto.

Should i change IHO and other manually at some range or is it better at auto?

My i7 is now prime stabile and BF3 (witch is for me better OC succes or not teller coz its very "needy"

What are the full hardware specs including the case. Photo of the rig wouldnt hurt.

Also what are your ram speeds. Really not enough info in this post. Grrrr

IOH is a chipset voltage so changing the CPU cooler just changed the airflow direction a bit

Ihave 2x570 , i7 920D0@4.1Ghz Ht off. Temps 67-75c v.1.365 (i had those voltages to run my cpu ht on @ 4gjz so i could go lower but i keep these voltages and try to push it to 4.3-4.4 if temps are under 85c.

Mobo:Rampage iii formula

Cpu cooler: H100(2xNF-F12)

Chase: hafx (modded side panel (full window) with 1x120mm intake to cool mobo

Ram cooler corsair cooler..

SSD: vertex 2 60gb

HDD: samsung f3 1TB

Psu: silverstone strider gold evolution 2.0 1200w

3x 230mm chase fans..

Ill add pics later when im home...

Now the IOH temp is a little better but i need to try to get it abit lower still to hit that 4.4ghz

Take the heat sink off the northbridge, clean it and reapply some decent therm paste.
You'll find it William cooler, ESP if you sit the heatsink with the little fan on and then a 80mm or 120mm side fan over it
