Hello,

Decided to join the forum after coming here to look for review on PSU. Currently putting together a new system to do my C.C.I.E and need a powerful computer to run some labs.

Spec I'm putting on:

Was going to go with this for PSU:

• Thermaltake W0319RU 850W ATX 12V 2.2 SLI Ready CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

but found this on sales and it has good customer review (even though HEC is not a 1st tier PSU maker) so ordered it:

• HEC XP1080 1080W Continuous @ 40°C ATX12V / EPS12V CrossFire & SLI NVIDIA HYBRID-SLI Certified Modular Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

Didn't find a review for it so hopefully this site will do one on it in the future.

i saw this psp as well. was about to grab it, but hadnt heard of hec.

seems that the psp is misrepresented and others have had problems with the brand in the past.
