Intel pentium has died ... at last

Hi guy after finding one of my very first computers in the loft about 6 months ago which was an old old pentium 1 166 MHz I choose to overlock it has hard as I could using modded modern day coolers and psu I hit 517 MHz which I personally think was amasing! I can report that it is now very dead... Well blue blue smoke and a melted cpu is a give away. I think that the fact it made it this long without cooking its self is shocking considering its age, its like giving your new cpu a 5GHz overclock! Has anyone else overclocked their old gear to death?

Got an old AMD K6 here, might give it a shot but i really like it, its like an amulet

might even put it in a necklace

I never sell anything computer wise it just gets put into storage

can report that my old Athlon XP 2200+ is currently at 3.2GHz temps around 79c with a Gelid Tranquillo but I don't care as I just wanna push it has hard as I can until it dies !!!
