Intel 520/Samsung 830/Crucial M4

So my question to you guys is, in terms of pure reliability, speed is not a big issue, but just the absoult most reliable drive on the market, which would you pick? If you had to go to the north pole, with no access to internet or a replacement drive, and you could only take one for your computer to put all your music, movies, games, and porn on, which drive would you take? Intel? Samsung? Crucial? if im missing one feel free to add it in, i just know these 3 to be the best

although that list doesnt include Samsung, it still puts Crucial at #1

I dunno, they are all excellent SSDs. You'll be really unlucky if you get an intel 520 failing on you. Samsung 830s are awesome drives too. Any of the three will be fine imo.

Anyway, i'd say the 830 and M4 are on the same level of speed, reliability and value, just that the 830 looks gorgeous. The 520 is good but expensive and is no more reliable or quicker than the M4 or 830

well i can get an intel 520 120gb on sale tomorow for the same price as a samsung 830 or a crucial m4....so for the same price i dont realy know which to buy anymore

Just to add I have a Samsung 830 drive and its fast, never given me any issues, looks great and I would recommend it to anyone. But any of the drives would be great for me the Samsung has got the edge due to its looks and there are some great deals around on them at the moment.

No issues with either 3. Benchmarking, you can argue speed values, but bottom line is that in the real world you won't notice.

Get the cheapest.

lol not looking for the fastest one, just the most reliable....the price for all of them are the same right now from a retailer, and i just cant choose! lol i was hoping for one drive to clearly be a favorite over the other 2 but i guess not
