Intake vs Exhaust configuration

They were probably mistaken. Unless its a reference card, all air is dumped into the case.

?
Your gpu fans heat out out inside the case,
stock factory gpu blower cooler pushes air out outside the case
inside the case, from what side top or side by the power input?

Edit: fixed image. my graphic tablet wouldnt work so i had to use mouse

This is what i meant, and why you want more exhaust fans

I never said I want more, I want a subsequent answer to every once disagreement.
initially top fans ere intake and when I swap it temps has improve... The rest stayed the same.

my max temp (atm) is 30*C constant (just web browsing). top 50% (exhaust), side 50% (intake), front 100% (intake), rear 50% (intake)... I'm happy, what is your current set up?

Cant find my memory card for the camera but here is an old pic without the fans i found on hwbot of my old setup (but gpu, psu, case is the same)

Keep in mind that my current pc is super crap (look at my sig) and the case is just terrible.

I have a Gigabyte GTX 570 Super Overclocked edition With 3 fans on the gpu cooler exhausting the hot air into the case.
I use 2 x 40mm fans at the back as exhaust and one 90mm (or 80mm?) fan as an intake at the front. nowadays i tend to run my pc without side panel so it doesn't make that much diffrence

you may be surprised just how much heat your psu is also exhausting being so close to the heat sink.
