Installing a Mach 2 onto a LIan LI pc75.

Has anyone run a Mach 2 GT with a Lian li pc75? The reason I ask is that I just got a pc65 to replace my old pc75 so I can easyilly fit the GT when it arrive but had no idea it was soo small compared to the pc75.

I think the pc75 is a far better case and it would be such a shame to lose it.

What I would like to know is if its possible to run the pc75 with the Mach 2? Will the cap tube the case with a dfi nf4 board? Also it has to look tidy so would have to mod the mach 2 panels to run the length of the pc75 case, has anyone see/done this?

Thx Guys.:)

Absolutly STUNNING:eek:

You really got the extended mach case spot on. Thats exactly what I'm looking for.

Where did you source the ali sheets for the mach sides from, and what sort of cost was involved for the mach case mod alone?

Is the plexi between the mach and pc75 needed or can the case sit straight on top of the mach?

-I got the alu from an alushop :p LoL

-I think I've paid about €60 for the complete mod excl plexiplate.

-The plexi isn't needed, it just looks great!

Well, i need one asap before i order one.

Ive had both Pc75 and PC65 before and i can testify that the 75 is hooooge :D loads of room inside though for prommie install and water for chipset/gfx if need be.

The PC65 does look neater with a mach setup though - saying that the guy above that has done his mods on bit-techs looks awesome.

Ive got the cash waiting, it's up to you which one you decide to sell.

What sort of condition are they in? are they boxed with all accessories?

Cheers

If you have a spare door for the 75 ie if you bought a windowed door and have the solid one spare you can cut it in half I believe and make modded panels for your prom if you have the lian li base kit

I did something similar - I made an aluminium panel that bent round in a u or n shape covering the overhang from a pc60 panel that my friend replaced with a window. Modified the standard lian li kit to bolt the extra bit on. Cut blowhole and fed kettle lead through. Hey presto.

Lol, I know exactly what you mean about the size - I went from a PC75 to a PC65 and was pretty shocked, you get used to it though - they're both great cases.

You could consider buying a case where you can put the mach actually in it like a V2000 or UFO etc but that means more money and a fair bit of work :(
