inspiration wanted

i have my water cooled set up looking sweet in a biege tower, took me days to do with a modicum of help from thickie now i am stuck BIEGE must get rid of it.

taking inspiration from the gold fan grills atop the case for the 120.3 rad gonna paint the case black, here is where i am stuck i dont want a full on window cut out of the side panel, i was looking for something a bit different along the lines of the side panel tc_overclocker did for missus overclocker

so i will cop out and leave it to you lovely people to suggest summat nice (i was gonna go for the old jps logo but use my initials instead) any help or ideas

btw the internal lighting is gonna be red to match the blood red dye in my water system

vid card question

Hiya!

Is your vid. card a X800XT vivo or X800 PRO vivo? I just bought an x800xt vivo with the 1.6 ram on it and it also has the little yellow conector.Mine is also a Sapphire.Did you have to flash the bios of your card to get 16 pielines working?How far can you push that card with stock cooling or are you cooling the card with water as well??

I'm confused here. I thought all X800XT cards had 16 pipes already??? Is'nt it everything below XT that has 8 pipes??

Mike do you mean X800 'PRO' or X800 'PRO' VIVO cos those are the two pro cards with 8 pipes and BIOS flashable to 16. I have the Sapphire X800pro VIVO, with a BIOS flash so it has the 16 pipes and then back to normal BIOS leaving the 16 pipes open. Beats my last X800pro VIVO which I managed to blow up EVEN with a Pelt cooling it down to -13!!!! Think the RAM gave up in the end.

i sure it was 12 pipes flashed up to 16 pipes then back to stock bios with 16 still open, is that right thickie

Cards confusing with so many models

I have the x800xt vivo. Doesn't it have the 16 pipelines? the stock speed is 500/500 with the ddr3 ram. I believe the x800xt-pe has a stock clockspeed of 520/500...am I correct on this? They both share the 1.6ns ram.

as far as i know its 500/500 for x800xt and 525/575 for x800xtpe the pro has 12 pipelines and the xt has 16

I was just unaware there was an XT VIVO I thort the VIVOs were all PRO cards.

To clarify a few things,there are six x800 cards available (generally)

1: x800 pro @ 475/450 +12 pipes

2: x800 pro vivo @ 475/450 + 12 pipes

3: x800xt @500/500 + 16 pipes

4: x800xt vivo @ 500/500 +16 pipes

5: x800xtpe @ 520/560 + 16 pipes

6: x800xtpe vivo @520/560 +16 pipes

Pobo has a #2: which we flashed to #5: to open the 16 pipes,but because we hadn't v-moodded it yet ,it couldn't run with 520/560.so we flashed back to #2: speeds and the 16 pipes stayed open.Now that i've v-modded his baby,i think i'd flash it back to #5:.Someone tell pobo rhinestones in pc's is not cool,cos i think he's serious,lol.
