hi i have a i3 2120 and h77 motherboard and im wondering would a fx 4320 be a good upgrade and i want to overclock the fx 4320 cpu and i have a coolermaster hyper tx 3 evo for cooling

No /end :)

Go Z77 with a 3570k if you can afford it. The 4320 is worse than what you already have in real world use.
Don't see why anyone would go from Intel to AMD at the present moment in time.

really i can get a fx 4320 for 139 dollars and so you guys dont think will better than my i3 and may ask will a fx 6300 be better

Still no. Don't buy AMD.

Intel offers far more performance per core whilst AMD just puts loads of cores in their chips even when programs don't use them.
Stay with Intel.

we should make a thread to this kind of epic questions!!! lol Please don't be offended!;)

Can you afford a new Mobo and Cpu? If you can, i´ll chose a Z77 board with a nice 3570k! If not try to buy the 3570 non-k versión!:)

actullay i will list my specs i3 2120 h77
4gb ddr3 ram and hd 6950 1gb corsair cx 600 i have all these part what would sugest to upgrade

I'd get an 8gb kit of 1600/1866mhz RAM - maybe higher if it's only a little more expensive.
Then save your money until you can afford a 3570k and/or Z77 motherboard. Although if Haswell's out by that time, then maybe go with that over Ivybridge

yea but inst haswell changing socket to 1150 and i bet the motherboards will be pricey and the amd 8000, gtx 700 is coming out next year

Yeah it is.
Obviously we can't speculate on a price, but things in the components market aren't generally massively overpriced as there's a lot of competition, and especially from previous generations.
Like, when Ivybridge came out, it wasn't overly pricey because it wasn't that much better in performance over previous generations. If Haswell is say 20% better than Ivybridge, I wouldn't expect the price to be 50% more for example.
I'm mainly talking about the mainstream lines here - things are a little different at the higher ends with the Xeons and 3960x/3970x.

Obviously - that's just speculation. But I think Intel are clever enough to know that if they massively overprice their mainstream products, people won't buy them.

Plus, yes it is a new socket, but we get new chipsets pretty much every year which promote a similar kind of hype.

I just think they'll be priced reasonable compared to their performance. And if they are too expensive, then there's nothing stopping you getting a 3570k and Z77 when the prices come down a little.
