I'm a layman.

Right this is what im thinking of tell me what yo think? i'm fairly over budget but i'm fairly happy with what involved.

As for the NZXT is the only grey area as it so exspensive, on a plus side its got plenty of room for upgrading in the future, i am thinking of overclocking but not right away.

Intel Core i5-2500k 3.30GHz (sandybridge) socket LGA1155 Processor

ASUS Sabertooth Intel P67 (REV B3) Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express

ASUS GeForce GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics

4GB Mushkin Silverline 2x2GB 1600MHz 9-9-9-24

600W Corsair Builder Seeries 600CX power supply

1TB Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 SATA II 3.5 hard drive

samsung SH-B123L/RSBP 12x BD-ROM / 16x DVD writer drive

NZXT Phantom Black enthusiast Full tower case

All good to go if you are happy with it:)

One thing though if you plan on watercooling in the future the 690 II Advanced would be the better option because you can fit a water cooling set up easy in it but to add water cooling to the Phantom you have to do some modding. If you are happy with just air cooling though the Phantom is perfect, if you want to save a bit take a look at the Fractal R3 it is cheaper but it is a good case.

Tom hasn't done a review of this one on it's own either but you get a good look at it here.

I would save £50 and get the ASUS P8P67 Intel P67 and buy a Aftermarket cpu cooler for over-clocking.

If he is going to overclock he should stick with the Sabretooth. I have the standard P8P67 and it's not the best for overclocking it takes high volts to get a decent OC the Sabretooth really is the better option. If he wasn't going to OC then the P8P67 would be fine but seen as he is I would definietly recommend the Sabretooth.

I agree SieB but if that was his budget and he couldn't afford a After-market cpu cooler then no over-clocking, im not sure if he is or isn't but if he isn't he doesn't need the 2500K. the 2500 and P8P67 will work if he isn't over-clocking, the 2500K and Sabertooth if he is, he will need a Aftermarket cpu cooler though.

He said he will be overclocking but not strait away, better to buy the better board now and save for a cpu cooler rather than make the mistake I did and buy the cheaper board instead and leaving the only option to have to save for a new better mobo.

Sorry didn't see that m8, so he will use the stock cooler until he is ready for over-clocking then buy a aftermarket cooler?

I guess so, he will be able to run ~3.8ghz with the stock cooler but 2500ks will do 4.5ghz + easy but he will need a better cooler for that.

He should be ok then, sorry I didn't see that he wouldn't be over-clocking right away.

Could you take a pic of the Muskin Copperhead RAM with the Sabretooth if you get chance. I'm thinking of getting 4gb of the copperhead for when I get my self a Sabretooth, seeing how they look will help me decide

They look crazy, just starting to wish i went for the 8gb, but prob overkill for my first.

Well I started last night, had it all in by 1am.

Woke up had an nightmare getting it up as kept getting a VGA not connecting, but was being a fool.

I needed to plug both pci cables from the PSU into the graphics card, i was their about 3 hours taking it apart checking every connection but i'm done and i'm very impressed.

Looking fwd to getting champ man 11 on with all the leagues.

I'll put some picks up soon!

Thanks everyone who has helped with the picking of parts.

Jay.
