iGPU not working in Windows?

My GPU step up came through so I planned on being on my iGPU until it arrives. However it works fine when booting and in the bios, however as soon as Windows loads there's no signal. Bios settings seem to be fine. Any idea what is going on?

Did you ever uninstall the previous AMD/Nvidia drivers before taking it out?
If you did, make sure you're on HDMI. IGPU works best with that in my experience as I find anything else just throws fits.

All Nvidia software and drivers were removed prior. Ah I'm on display port, maybe that's it. My mobo only has a display port port. If I can't get it to work until the new card arrives it's okay but it's nice if I can continue to use the pc of course.

That motherboard does support Hdmi. It's underneath the DP port. Pretty sure HDMI is required on Intel board's. It's there main Video IO foe intel

Ah yeah of course silly me! It's the display that only has a display port. Oh well, I'll wait it out then, cheers for the quick responses!

Try booting into safe mode of windows then windows will probably use the igpu, then go to the device manager select the igpu under display adapters and click to update drivers

I tried but I cannot find a way to select safe mode from booting. A Google search says all methods are from within Windows which defeats the point of booting into safe mode. F8 isn't working like the old days. There must be a way though!

If you boot from an installation disk it will allow you to boot into safe mode -I think-

I'm pretty sure if you boot from a CD, you can either reinstall or repair windows. Don't think you can do anything else, although W10 may be different but I don't believe it changed

If you want to boot into safe mode, look in your motherboard manual. It should allow you to do that I would think.

Go to bios and disable fast boot to get the time to press F8

Installation USB didn't work indeed.

Fast boot is off. Google search yielded F8 doesn't exist anymore for Windows 10. It only gives options to reboot into safe mode from Windows (not very smart ha ha).

This is quite strange...
