If you read anything on the internet, read this...

ok without exagerating, i really think this could be the best thing ever written that is freely available on the internet. everybody should read it.

basically some guy was a streetsweeper for almost a year, and encountered some events which he has written about, and posted on the somethingawful forums. most are hilariously funny, but other things are touching aswell.

so set aside a good couple of hours for yourself, because you wont be able to stop reading this, it really is brilliant.

HERE is the link to the original thread, but its sometimes hard to navigate and the forum replaces swear words with other odd words that dont fit properly. (for example "f*ck" is replaced by "love")

HERE are the tales in a nice formatted PDF file, which is much nicer and easier to read. I recommend using this.

So as I said, you will enjoy it, and it may just change your view of things.

Cheers,

Dave

Reminds me of the Ambulance Blog, forget the site, but Google'll bring it up :)

since u posted that, ive spent til now reading the ambulance blog about the 999 call taker. there are loads of blogs, but that was definately a good read and has taught me so much.

glad ur all enjoying it folks :)

wonder how many people have dismissed this as just another thread which they should ignore :p

Dav0s damn you - do you realise how much work I have to do and I stumble across this and spend the next 1hr or so reading it? GOD DAMN it was worth it lol.

I laughed, I cried (ok I didn't but some of the stuff was spine tingling)

Quality.

On a side note, the guys attitude and writing style was similar to a book 'A Million Little Pieces - James Frey' - I read that book last year, it is definitely worth a read regardless of controversy surrounding its authenticity. Read it!
