Ideas for 3.5" and 5.25 drive bays

I have my new TT armor and I want to fill up one 3.5 and one 5.25 drive bay. I was thinking some kind of display for the 3.5 because it is right next to my power button so I think it would look pretty cool. As for the 5.25 I have no idea. All my other drive bays are used for my 120mm fans so any ideas?

Ye lol PV I will be going to watercooling when I do my next upgrade, but I just bought some new air cooling so I will have to make due. And I will look into those products you suggested, I think they were reviewed here on the site. Thats the kind of thing I had in mind Ares210 I'll check it out some more.

fan controller?

or one of those cigarete lighters in 3.5inch bays, come in useful as phone chargers if you buy the incar ones

Yeah mate, that's where I linked you to...the reviews for both :)

Hey man is your case the Thermaltake Armor Model? cause I was thinkin of getting the Thermaltake Kandalf With 25cm side Fan. I think both cases have the same dimensions just a few small differences. How is it preforming in cooling down the system on the inside?.

Ye I have the TT armor, I love it, its huuuuge. The cooling on it is working pretty good for me I am getting around 34C idle and 39-41C playing games and such. I have a zalman 9500CNPS. I am planning on getting another 120mm intake fan which should also help out a bit. If you get the kandalf with the 250mm which I might do later on, i'm sure it will work out great. The build quality is awesome on these cases.

but fan controller might be cool.

just dont get the sunbeamtech chromatic windmill.

have one and is NOT impressed, it only manages to lower the rpm on a 90mm fan with 250rpm which is kinda lousy and the clock keeps going offtime for me.

20w sounds a bit ridicoulous for fans if you ask me :)

to make a long story short, 20w bould be enough to power about 58.8 fans similar to the stock cooler on my gfx card.

the windmill is rated 10w per channel, one good thing with the windmill is it has 3 tempsensors and feels quite nice to have them, makes it easy to check case temp for example.

Heh, pretty much no one loads up a channel fully on those things, but they do chain several fans to each channel. But it is easily considered the best, causing no whining or such problems when the volts are dialed down. Main complaint against it is that the LED's are blindingly annoying
