Thats not a bad idea, Kinda similar in concept to the "Thermaltake Level 10" concept by sepparating all the components to minimize heat in any one of the parts. In that picture i'd probably put the PSU with the HDD, to fit a Motherboard and everything else might not have room and you can run the cords behind the case into holes for everything.

Love the design though

It's a nice idea, and like Madbaron said, it's similar to the Thermaltake L10. I always thought it was a good idea, but I still think that we need a better cooling option with air cooling than just these standard fans. There must be some sort of cooling that is more efficient at cooling and is cheaper.

We need to think up something that would be excellent for cooling, affordable and offers a significant cooling advantage over 120mm fans etc...

thnx guys for the comments ,yea i also had some inspiration form the "thermaltake" one,but thinking of new design

@Madbaron i thought of keeping the psu with the mother board and let wires go through the back side.your idea is also good so that means it will reduce the height of the casing right?if not the area for the motherboard will take lots of free space, and when using the psu it also can be used to cool the internal parts ,so why its separated in the thermaltake design?

@Youngie1337 any suggestions coz i have a very few practical experience on cooling

Well, I'm no expert in cooling either lol. I guess concentrated cooling to a point (device) and withdrawing heat from the whole case at once. Heat rises so it's basically a suck and pull like we have now... hmm like this?

These will be to a point for maximum suction!!

i'm installing solidworks atm as i'll be doing a case design which might be used irl for someone, quick sketch :

mb layout will be normal and up to E-ATX, this is just something i made in paint so dimensions and spacing arent right yet

i got some theorethical knowledge on cooling if that good enough i'll be happy to help you out

wow gud see others ideas also

but personally i think suking air from the bottom will suk more dust to the casing ,its a fact that hot air flow from top to bottom but.............

that has to be the most confusing design ever

anyways, sucking air from the bottom gives you less dust if you use a proper filter as dust is heavier anyway.

i just started on the cad on my design, than i'll do some airflow simulations and work it out a bit more

I wasn't going to comment but I looked at the first image and a idea came to mind

i hope that explains its self

Also Have a vent for the PSU to be able to suck air in directly from outside the case and blow it straight out again,

so far, i made the foot the case will rest on. Not sure about colors yet, will probably go flashy.base.JPG

btw, does anyone know how you let solidworks and photoview 360 use a gtx 460 gpu ?

there you go, my design worked out in about an hour, i didn't bother getting everything exact as it's never going to be build anyway :'(

i use solidworks 2010 its uses cpu to render in photoveiw and i dont think its supports gpu rendering which version are you using, and btw gud start, and i think proper filtering would also do so, i wish if Tim can comment on this post coz he's like reviewing many cases right?

@yggdrasil gud idea u can use the middle diagonal part to send the wires

@Youngie1337 hmm yea its bit complicated

k i managed add little bit of details,so wud like to hear some comments

and thnx guys 4 participating for the thread
