IBM Gets Green Light to Sell it's Microelectronics Division to GlobalFoundries

IBM has received a Green Light from US officials to offload it's Microelectronics division to GlobalFoundries.

Wonder if all this new patents and advances GF is getting means they can get AMDs Zen CPU and make it more advanced if AMD indeed goes to GF to build it since GF has built a lot of AMD's chips before
