I should seriously quit guitar :(

You gotta give him time to loosen up. Seriously i cant even play like that now let alone play like that when i was 14. Id been at it a year and a half at 14 and could barely play Iron Man.

Me on guitar youtube.com/ppmguire

I have been at it for about 6months now and I am no where near that good. :)

In fact... I find it hard to do anything longer than a minute long. :o

That kid is god. :)

Rofl yea but ive also been at it about 7 years ;) Now you see why i wanna quit. The only thing i have on this guy at almost 20yo is i have alot more experience and know the inside and out of a guitar, amps, and toys and can custom make my own. Other than that, in about a year this kid will surpass my playing ability.

I find it hard to do anything longer than a minute long.
Just practice alot till your calices gain. I could tell you my on stage secret but then it wouldnt be a secret anymore huh lol.

If this kid keeps it up he will be Steve Vai in like 10 years lol.

Its just this kinda stuff really drops a bucket of water on my fire. Becasue if i would have worked at it as hard as he is i could of been doing the same thing. I had the gear, the knowledge, but i thought other things where just oh so more important. I had ALOT of opportunities and blew them all becasue i was stupid. Knowing the places i coulda been with my playing is what makes me really want to quit becasue im to old to do anything with it now.

I am gonna learn the guitar post a vid in 7 years time and then peeps me old china you will be able to say , well I wasn't that bad!!

Seriously I watched the videos you posted and thought you were very good, but as kemp says, some people are naturals, I just hope he keeps it up and gets noticed.

Well ive only been seriously playing for about a year. Everything else before i peddled around with it and didnt really take my playing seriously.

He is very talented... His years of playing violin will have helped a lot. Even if only in the way he applies himself to practising.

ppmguire, your too good and far into something to quit now. Your a real good player, stick to something and it can only get better. Put some more videos on your youtube, your class.

A7X FTW!!!!! :D

Lmao thanx alot for the support. Ill put more videos up when i get the chance. To busy lately to do any real learning. Next video up will either be Bat Country or Afterlife. Just subscribe and youll see it when i do it.

Heres a pic of my set at my best friends house.

Im sure yall have seen my guitar stuff already.

Looks like a similar setup to what a friend of mine has, different make though, you play drums a lot too?
Yea i started out on drums and guitar came after. The majority of my kit is an 80s Tama Rockstar but i have some other brands in there too. The only good cymbal is the main crash the rest is rubbish lol. It looks good i suppose and makes people go ooo aaa. I hope to get some Youtube videos up of the drumming but i have no idea when i can do that. Btw that mixer board is literaly from the 70s :D

I Gave Guitars A Chance But Wasnt For Me, Did Piano For 2 Years Tho
Piano is something i really want to learn pretty bad. I just have no idea where to start. When i learned guitar it was pretty easy. I picked up a book and learned. Piano is sorta just...whoa..to me.:worship:
