I need to buy a new psu for my pc

: 750w unbranded psu(NOV-PSU750), I have to use 1 molex to 6pin pcie adapter so i can use my gpu its baba

: ATI Radeon 4890

: Asus P5KPL-AM

: 4Gb ram & 500Gb hd

In a few months im going to build a new rig

: Asus Sabertooth X79

: Intel Core i7-3930K (hoping prices come down a tad)

: Noctua NH-D14 or NZXT Havik-140

: G.Skill RipjawsZ 16GB DDR3 PC3-17000

: Next-gen gpu or this gen Nvidia 580 or 680...

: Western Digital 1TB Hdd(WD1002FAEX) and maybe an ssd alongside it for windows AGT3-25SAT3-60G

I want a quiet/power saving psu that i can use with the system i have now and also with the 1 i will be getting.

That might be cutting it a bit, if you wan't more headroom then a Corsair AX1200 would be best...

Also worth a look is the Coolermaster Silent Pro Gold 1200W, but bear in mind it's only semi-modular, so you'll need a bit of space up the back of your case to hide a spare 8 pin and a spare 8+6 pin cable. All the SATA/Molex cables are modular, and there's another two 8+6 modular cables should you need them, which you probably won't.

Got one in my rig (although admittedly I got mine for £130 ages ago) and it's rock solid.
