Hi

I have asus z170-k mobo and 6700k processor and i want to use it in adaptive mode,no overclock, no turbo just on stock 4000Mhz. I am playing bf4 alot and that game does not like overclocking as it gives micro stuttering. I never did this on asus before as my previous setup was with i7 2600k and gigabyte z77 d3h. So I just set adaptive mode and it is stable during gaming and its lovering voltages in idle(to 0.600v) which i wanted to achieve. What is concerning me is low load voltage which is never higher than 1.15V on 4000Mhz. I have trouble now to kill opponents and bad hit detection plus some fps drops which i did not had in auto mode(1.24V max) or manual mode(1.2V ). My guess is its because low load voltage. How i can set adaptive mode which will rise voltage to 1.2V during load?

You probably wont need your volts that high.

Best way to test it is turn all of the EIST - Speedstep etc off and see what you can get the volts down to while at 4GHZ.

I think it will be OCCT stable at 1.1v

Thanks Tom, never tought it can be stable on so low voltage. Why i am getting fps drop and bad hit detection in adaptive mode at 1.15V max while they are not present in auto mode and manual mode? Also how to set target voltage in adaptive mode because i dont like constant max frequency in manual mode.

Ill be honest dude I never bother with that adaptive stuff so Im really not the guy to help with that, I can only advise how you can try and work out what volts are needed.
