I need advice in getting new case

Hey all I need your advice in getting a new case my budget is 100 dollars..I want to take in consideration the noise level of the case as much as possible also
after I did some search i found these cases
1-corsair carbide 400R and it is by far the best looking one for me
2-cooler master k550
3-cooler master 550 silencio
4-thermaltake level 10 GTS
5-coolermaster cm stromscout 2
so which one would u recommend for me or if there is any better options just tell me

coolermaster stormscout 2 or the carbide 400r. i really don't like thermaltake cases.

1- 400R is a good case, but be carefull with tall air heatsinks! Other than that; great choice.

2- K550 is ugly as ef imo, and since it's a budget 'gaming' case, options will be limited (like cable management won't be great)

3- If you care about quiet more than you care about your components being 'cool', this is a good case. Kind of depends on the hardware that you want to put in though. Don't do a very high-end build in a 'silent' case imo.

4- Please don't buy a ThermalTake case, they're kinda tacky and quality isn't the best.

5- Good case, but mainly aimed at people who go to LAN events. The inside looks pretty good to me (Cable management grommets and the HDD cages). Fan lay-out is kind of the same as in the 400r, but I'm not sure if it can also fit an H100(i) in the top (though I'm assuming it can).

I'd go for either the 400r or the Scout 2

I thought the 400r and 500r weren't very wide, so you might run into problems with tall heatsinks. I've looked it up though, and apparently it should not be a problem:

Especially with the Hyper 212 Evo, it will surely fit anyway



What I meant with LAN events are that CM Storm products are usually aimed toward the LAN gamer but that doesn't mean that they are less good as a home pc! The Scout 2 is a good case and if you like the looks; then go for it!

Btw, your rig should also be fine in a silent case. Most cases don't come with decent, silent fans though so maybe you should look to invest in some silent fans in the future. That way you won't need a silent case and you don't have to choose between cooling and silence but you can have both :lol:

From those 5 cases, I'd pick the CM Storm Scout 2.

I have 4 harddesks and cooling them is important since I rarely shutdown my pc really , also I am from egypt and temperature nearly 40 celesius in summer so that's another problem
is there any case in my budget limits with fans controllers ?

You could also have a look at the Phantom 410 from NZXT.
From those 5 cases, I'd pick the CM Storm Scout 2.

the nzxt one looks so good but out of stock and not sure when it will be available again for me

Wouldn't recommend a case with a fan controller built in. Just buy a seperate one, they are often wayy better than a built-in one.
