I need a Case

To me, a case is the least important part of a PC system, so I have a £40 budget to spend on a one.

I did have the AKASA Zen case in mind, but now I'm not too sure on the drive bay covers, and the size inside for an 8800GTX. Now, I'm either thinking about this one:

Coolermaster Centurion RC-532 Black+Silver Trim Case w/o PSU

Or this one:

Coolermaster Centurion RC-534 Black Tower Case w/o PSU

So far, I've not managed to find any reviews on either case. I think I prefer the look of the RC-532 to the 534, but I'm not sure where the power button is on the 532.

If you could point me in the right direction, or maybe suggest a better case for £40, I'd be a happy man indeed :D.

Chieftec (or Chenming, Antec, etc... All the same case really) server cases ftw! Big, well designed, cheap, and some have side windows. I housed my first dual cpu setup in one a while back, dual AMP's, it was a great case.

Edit: This sucka right HERE. Or this one right HERE. Both are awesome cases at a great price.

anyone care to tell me whats wrong with thermaltake?

LOL, nothing. I recommended one before and they all flamed me and said Lian li..

I think case choice is a personal thing.

Righty ho, back on track! Personally, I think the case choice is really imprtant, and personal preference is the only thing that matters here. No point in having a case that everybody else loves, but you dislike. What are you planning to put in the case, just a basic system? Does it need to have enough room for further additions and mods down the track? Are there any particular features that you looking for, or do without? Do looks take precedence over functionality, or are both equally important to you?

The black XClio that SCAN stock is a pretty nice case actually and about £20. Add a couple of nice fans and it's silent as.

Lian-Li PC7 PLUS - £50 (I have one and it is the best case I've had so far)

Comes with 120mm fans etc :) very nicely finished aluminium case

I've seen someone say they have fitted a 8800GTX into it without problems aswell.

Thanks for the replies guys - surprised I got so many in such a short time :D.

It's going to be a pretty high end system going into the case, but I suppose it's only the 8800GTX that matters space-wise.

Most of the suggestions you've come up with either have drive covers, or a window, and I don't really see the point in either. Just so you know the kind of style I like, I already have THIS case.

I like the case that equk suggested, but THIS site says it might not fit the 8800GTX inside. Therefore, since a case like the Coolermaster Centurion RC-532 has been suggested a few times before, I'll probably stick with that :).
